He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Fedele and Wava Fedele (Strain); his wife Virginia Ellen Crumb (JoAnne); his son Thomas Fedele; his son-in-law Michael McLaughlin; and his siblings, Anthony "Jim" Fedele and Francis Fedele.
He is survived by: his close friend Daisy McDonald of Tidioute; his children, Tammy McLaughlin of Mercer, PA and Carman Fedele Jr. (Robin Gilbert) of Mechanicsville, VA; his grandchildren, Hannah Fedele of Richmond, VA, Laci Fedele of Florida, Damian Fedele (Rebecca) of Florida, Ericha Lanros (Nick) of Pittsburgh and Erin Ellis (Brecken) of Mercer; and his caregiver Donna Richard. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
