It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard C. Barone of Throop, Pennsylvania, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Barone and Dorothy Chorba Barone; and his brother Paul Barone. He is survived by: his daughters, Lauren Summa (Frank) and Kristen Jones (David); his grandchildren, Jack Summa, Sydney Jones, Rhys Jones, Stella Jones and Aubrey Summa; his sister-in-law Gina Barone of Bradenton, FL; his nephew Michael Barone of Tampa, FL; and his niece Emily Barone of Bradenton, FL.

Memorial contributions may be made to The ALS Association Greater Philadelphia Chapter, 321 Norristown Road, Suite 260, Ambler, PA 19002.
