She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Edward Ellis; her parents, Milton Stewart and Ruth Whaley; her brother Robert Whaley; her daughter Bonnie Carol Schaefer; and her children-in-law, Raymond McKnight and Janet Lee Ellis.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Lou McKnight of Thornhurst, Wendy Lee Martin (Andrew) of Thornhurst, Richard Timothy Ellis of Deerfield Beach, FL and Rebecca Ann McManus of Franklin Park, NJ; her grandchildren, Jason Schaefer (Amelia), Melissa Bezahler (Matthew), Gina Schaefer, Shelley Brierley (Dillan), Natalie Martin and Michael Gael McManus; and her great grandchildren, William Doren, Jack Bezahler and Drew Lowe.
