He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Burkholder and Myrtle Burkholder (Barrick); and his sister Isabelle Louise Hock. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen A. Burkholder (Walker); his sons, Daniel Burkholder and James Burkholder; his granddaughter Samantha Blackistone; and his brother Roger Burkholder. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
