He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia M. Potter (Schaeffer); his sons, Harry R. Potter and Roger D. Potter; his parents, Harry F. Potter and Ruth H. Potter; and his siblings, Evelyn Potter, Joseph, Eudora Potter, Joyce Cline (Theodore Huntley) and David Potter.
He is survived by: his children, Marcia (Arthur Edel), John (Donna Potter), Brenda (Richard Tiffany), Kevin (Jin Potter) and Charlise (William Albert); his daughter-in-law Subin Pim Potter of Thailand; and his cousin Betty Ann. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 of their spouses; 4 great grandchildren.
