He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Wilkins; his parents, Myrl Stone and Cecile Dickson Stone; his son Keith Stone; and his siblings, Everett, Oscar, Paul, Elston Stone, Elizabeth Sheldon and Helen Stone.

He is survived by: his children, Myrl (Carol), Lorraine Anderson (Dennis), Warren (Tootsie), Janice McCorkle (Robert), Donna Passetti (Richard) and Glenn; and his daughter-in-law Deneen Stone. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
