He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jane Trupe (Ziemer); his parents, Samuel O. Trupe and Belle Trupe (Keiffer); his children, Edith Margaret Trupe and Robert L. Trupe; his great grandchild Kole Trupe; and his brothers, Alfred and Charles Trupe.
He is survived by: his children, Samuel D (Shirley Trupe), Rose A (Willis Fox), William D (Cathy Trupe), John R. Trupe, Terre Hill, Henry L (Charlotte Trupe) and Carol S (David Schaeffer); his daughter-in-law Sylvia Trupe (Becker); and his sisters, Ruth Good and Annabelle Haines.
