She was predeceased by: her husband Phares S. Hurst; her parent John Martin; her siblings, Henry, David, John, Lydia and Samuel Martin; and her granddaughter Rachel Hoover.
She is survived by: her daughter Esther; and her parent Mary Ellen Martin (Sauder). She is also survived by nine children: Anna married to Lloyd Fox, Ephrata, David married to Eva (Martin) Hurst, Shippensburg, Ella widow of the late Martin Fox, Penn Yan, NY, Joseph married to Lavina (Hoover) Hurst, Plymouth, OH, Mary married to John Hoover, East Earl, Phares M. married to Marian (Martin) Hurst, Narvon, Martha married to Mervin Newswanger, East Earl, Esther married to Paul Burkholder, Kutztown, and Annetta married to Amos Z. Sauder, New Holland, 67 grandchildren, 155 great-grandchildren and two brothers.
