He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Edis Ammons and Tennant; his grandson Alphas Glenn Ammons IV; and his siblings, David Richard Ammons and Jenney Brahosky.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Jean Ammons (Brown); his children, Alphas Glenn Ammons III (Julie) of Terre Hill, James Edward Ammons (Jennifer) of Mount Laurel, NJ, Shellie Jean Smith (Tom) of York, Fredrick Wayne Ammons (Tamson) of Narvon and Matthew Michael Ammons (Amy) of Ephrata; his grandchildren, Molly, Alexandra, Madeleine, Andrew, Daniel, Kathryn and Bailey; and his sister Marlene Sue Shaw. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the C. Stanley Eckenroth Home For Funerals (209 E Main St, Terre Hill, PA 17581). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
