He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnston and Pat Johnston (Hornberger); his siblings, Doug Johnston and Amy Hiles; and his uncle Dan Hornberger.
He is survived by: his wife Belinda Johnston (Salsgiver); his sons, Todd Johnston (Becky), Josh Johnston (Kim), Chad Johnston (Kathie) and Justin Johnston (Justy); his grandchildren, Emilee, Kailie, Matthew, Hunter, Logan, Joe, Carson, Hayden, Jayda and Riley; and his brothers, Jeff, Greg and Jim Johnston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Additional viewing will be held in the funeral home on Friday, June 4, 2021, from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help offset expenses.
