He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Claypoole (Tim) of Kittanning and Herb Hooks II (Marylou) of Templeton; his close friend Margaret Bowser of Templeton; his grandchildren, Stephanie Claypoole (Ryan), Tori Black (Rich), Andrew Claypoole (Tiffany), Megan Oesterling (Brian), Jenna Hooks, Nikki Hooks and Emily Hooks; and his siblings, Prue Burke of Worthington and Amos Hooks (Linda) of Hadley. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
