He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles C. Andy and Mildred Anderson Andy (Kraft); and his siblings, Charles Anderson (Laura), Incel Anderson, Jimmy Anderson, Marlene Brunner and Maxine Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra L. Anderson (Hornberger); his daughter Karen Hoover of Rimersburg; his grandchildren, Dolton Hoover and Isabella Hoover; and his siblings, William Anderson (Clara) of Walkchalk, Leona Faber of Kittanning and Shirley Crissman (Calvin) of Templeton.
