He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Schawl and Marie Schawl (McKain). He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Schawl (Grey); his children, Ed A. Schrenengost (Pam) of Kittanning, Gary R. Schawl (Melissa) of Templeton, Denise Smith of Ford City and Marcia Spencer (Brent) of Shippensburg, PA; and his sister Nancy Gouin of North Carolina. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
