We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2022, at the age of 75, Barbara Ann Atherton of Templeton, Pennsylvania, born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William August and Mary August; and her daughter Mary Beth Atherton. She is survived by: her husband Dennis "Blackie" Atherton Sr. of Templeton; her children, Dennis Atherton Jr. (Sandy) of Kittanning, Michael Atherton (Melissa) of Templeton, Amber Houser (Richard) of Margaret and Patricia Heilman (Shawn) of Texas; her stepsons, Brandon Atherton (Kortlynn) of Kittanning and Howard Atherton (Catrina) of Worthington; and her sister Billie Bish (Terry). She is also survived by 20 Grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
