He was predeceased by: his wife Anna P. Haines (Bainbridge); his parents, Kenneth Haines and Anna Haines (Price); his son William J. Haines Jr.; and his siblings, MaryJane Schaeffer, Alma Straub and Kenneth Haines.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah A. (Robert Gerhard) and Marilyn L. (Craig Sherman); his daughter-in-law Sandi Haines; his grandchildren, Melanie, Robb, Jennifer, Ashley, Matt, Lisa, Lauren, Billy, Michele, Sara and Sean; and his friend Jeanette Hunsberger. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
