He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy J. Stewart (Cowley) and Herschel T. Stewart; and his daughter Amanda Kate Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Sandra G. Stewart (Bendrick); his sons, Rick L. Stewart (Amber M.) and Michael J. Stewart (Stephanie L.); his sister Cheryl A. Zissa (John Zissa) of Exeter Township; his grandsons, Jacob T. Stewart and Zachary D. Stewart of Tioga County; and his brother-in-law David S. Bendrick of Reading. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his four Grandchildren's Custodial Accounts in care of Michael Stewart at 1410 Juniata Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15233.
