He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn H. Shultz (Miller); his parents, Robert E. Shultz II and Edna M. Shultz (Miller); and his brothers, Robert E Shultz III and Delane L. Shultz.
He is survived by: his children, Eric L. Shultz (Susan C. Shultz) of Colony Park, Mark D. Shultz (Susan M. Shultz) of Reinholds and Dr. Susan K. Shultz (Michael Craig) of Vancouver, WA.; his grandchildren, Andrea Miller (Kevin Miller), Lisa Shultz, Heather Yohn (Rocky Yohn) and Sarah Palisano (Chuck Palisano); and his great grandchildren, Piper Yohn, Hunter Yohn, Colton Yohn and Brynn Palisano.
