With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Leibensperger of Temple, Pennsylvania, born in Mohrsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 1, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leibensperger and Sophia Leibensperger; his former wife Doris Leibensperger; his sons-in-law, Jeffrey Hitchings and Jay Moody; and his sisters, Mary Ann Schappell and Cassandra Adams.

He is survived by: his daughter Kim Hitchings (Jim Rieger) of Bethlehem, PA; his grandson Jarret Hitchings; his wife Kristen; his grandson Michael Hitchings (Stephanie); his great grandchild Trey of Philadelphia; his daughter Sue Moody of Falmouth, Maine; his grandsons, Dr. Benjamin Moody and Christopher Moody of Jackson Hole, Wyoming; his brother Steve Leibensperger (Doris); and also Lincoln of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
