He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bachert and Sadie Bachert (Brobst). He is survived by: his wife Christel Bachert (Germany); his children, Jerry R. Bachert (Lois Savage) of Flying Hills, Linda A. Conarty (George Conarty) of Lehighton, Patricia L. Bachert (William Martin) of Wyomissing and Richard R. Bachert (Melanie Crites-Bachert) of Portland, Oregon.; his grandchildren, Adrienne, Dalton, Jeremy, Joleen, Kaitlin and Leland; and his great grandchild Kooper.
