He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Kissinger and Dorothy Kissinger (Seyler); his siblings, Jean and Joseph; and his son John M. Seyler.

He is survived by: his former wife Anna Marie Seyler; his daughter Carla A. Waligorski; and his granddaughter Taylor R. (Jarrod Spangler).
