With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andrés Guzmán-Ortiz (Temple, Pennsylvania), who passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudino Guzman Colon and Tomasa Ortiz Alvarado; his wife Virgenmina Colon; and his children, Andres Guzman-Colon and Lydia Batista.
He is survived by: his daughter Nelly Guzman Colon (Elizander Vargas); his daughter-in-law Carmen Velez-Guzman; and his grandchildren, Christopher Vargas, Andy Guzman, Jondre Guzman, Elianer Vargas, Angelica Guzmán-Pagan and Ariana Guzmán. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
