William B. Fairer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William B. Fairer of Telford, Pennsylvania, born in Easton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As William departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy William leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Edmund B. Fairer and Rhoda Fairer (Ackroyd); his former wife Vera Lenoir Fairer (Powell); and his son Robert Edmund Fairer. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Fairer (Baringer); his children, William B. Jr. (Beverly) of Bridgeton, NJ and Deborah (Charles Coder) of Bellefonte, PA; his stepdaughter DottiAnne (Donald Edmonds Jr.) of Zionsville, PA; and his daughter-in-law Philippa Fairer. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Telford (12 Lutheran Home Dr, Telford, PA 18969). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Children's Dyslexia Center of Lehigh Valley, 1533 Hamilton St., Allentown, PA 18102.
