He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Thomas and Maruele Johns Thomas; his siblings, Judith Levan, Marilyn Thomas and Richard "Sag" Thomas; his in-laws, Joseph and Verna Kavulich; and his brothers-in-law, Pat Coccia, Thomas J. "Cal" Kavulich and James Kavulich.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Kavulich; his siblings-in-law, Arthur Levan, Taylor, Joseph Kavulich, Rose Coccia and Terri Kavulich; and his godson Andrew Kavulich. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann's Basilica (1233 St Ann St, Scranton, PA 18504).
