He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria A. Farias; his parents, Dorothy Pries Obidinski of Scranton and John E. Obidinski; his children, Jamie Obidinski (Lyndsay Hall) of Taylor, Jennifer Esterline (Kenneth) of Blakely and Katie Bullock (Jay) of Hawley; his sister June Dutka (John) of Clarks Summit; and his grandchildren, Taylor Proch and Hailey Esterline. He was also cherished by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
