He was predeceased by: his wife Elfa Maroni (Perotti); and his siblings, Richard Maroni, Josephine Frena, Julia Michaels and Vivian McAnulty.
He is survived by: his children, Maureen L. Carnes (Densier) of Atlanta, Mark A. Maroni (Sherry) of Tarentum, Martin A. Maroni (Susan) of Shaler Township and Matthew P. Maroni (Cherie) of Plum Borough; and his grandchildren, Kristina E. Reid (John) of New Kensington, Edward S. Freshwater (Marni) of Atlanta, Brian Freshwater (Julie) of Atlanta, Jaime Freshwater (Kim) of Atlanta, Connor M., Andrew D. Maroni of Shaler Township, Christian P. Maroni of Miami and Juliet Maroni of Columbia, S. C. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
