Lester M. Thickey Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2024, at the age of 81, Lester M. Thickey Jr. of Tarentum, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Lester shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lester farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester M. Thickey, and Margaret "Peg" Thickey, Sr.; his wife Carol A. Thickey; and his brother Charles K. "Chuck" Thickey. He is survived by: his daughters, Leslie A. Mayhugh of Winfield Twp and Lisa A. McCleary (James) of Lower Burrell; his granddaughters, Faith, Grace Mayhugh of Winfield Twp and Josie McCleary of Lower Burrell; and his brother Rodger F. Costello of Fawn Twp.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. (347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, PA 15084). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Greenwood Memorial Park (104 Melwood Rd, New Kensington, PA 15068).
