He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bachman and Nellie Bachman (Dupain); his wife Phyllis Marie Bachman (Paustenbach); and his siblings, Richard Bachman, Marie Beeghley and Jane Danish.
He is survived by: his sons, James D. Bachman (Leslie) of McLean, VA and John J. Bachman (Theresa) of Sewickley; and his sister Audrey J. Chlasta. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
