He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth E. Stroman, Jr.; his parents, Frank Stroman and Opal Stroman (Fike); and his brother Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Lois A. Stroman (Plocki); his children, Kevin Stroman and Charlene Linhart (late Montie); his grandchildren, Cassie Stroman-Good, Lindsay Baddick and Jordan Linhart; his great grandchildren, Evelina and Aurora Baddick-Harden; and his brother Fred Stroman.
