He is survived by: his parents, Richard Kopec and Janet Kopec (Andrisevic); his siblings, John Kopec (Amy), Joyce Yarnot and Jim Kopec (Francine); his nieces and nephews, Matthew, Connor, Allison, Jennifer, Nicholas, Benjamin, Kylie, Alexa and James; and his close friend Professor Emeritus Robert Shankovich. He is also survived by many godchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
