He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Krofchik and Anna Krofchik (Salata); and his sister Joan Krofchik. He is survived by: his sisters, Rose Ann Krofchik of Tarentum and Marlene Campen (Clifford) of Plum Boro. He is also survived by 5 nephews.
