Edward Thimons Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2020, at the age of 94, Edward Thimons (Tarentum, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Thimons and Marie Fleck Thimons; his grandson Scott Edward Thimons; and his siblings, Joseph, Robert, Arnold Thimons, Margaret Culleiton and Madeline Yeasted.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Mae Oravitz Thimons; his children, Edward D. Thimons Sr. (Barbara) of Bethel Park, Joseph F. Thimons (Jane) of Natrona Heights, David R. Thimons (Janice) of Marienville, Kathleen Barkowski (Larry) of Natrona Heights and Thomas V. Thimons (Cathy) of Allison Park; his grandchildren, Edward Jr. (Julie), Heather, Nathan (Jen), Todd, Christy (Kevin), Nick (Kami), Ben (Natasha), Allie (Russ), Gabe, Kate (Cody), Michael (Marissa), Clare, Andrew, Alyssa (Matt), Jessica and Matthew; and his sister Christine Hardaway of Tarentum. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Ed may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society of Holy Martyrs Church, 353 West 9th Avenue, Tarentum, Pa. 15084.
