He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William and Alice Elizabeth Pierce Lawton of Nowrytown; his wife Hazel Mae Riddle Lawton; his siblings, Eugene Emerson, Dora Janet Christy and Mary Eileen Bohri; and his son-in-law Jonathan B. Weleski.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marsha Jo Weleski of Freeport and Michele Lawton Todd of Nottingham; and his grandchildren, Natalie Reitz, Leah Weleski, Charlee Crouse, Breanna Todd and Gerald Todd (Tres). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
