It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert J. Valasek (Tarentum, Pennsylvania), born in Brackenridge, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 8, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Valasek and Sophia Valasek (Mayton); his wife Mary Ann L. Butler; his daughters, Debra Adams and Diana Kibbe; and his sisters, Vicentia Artkowsky, Angela Buco and Mary Malletts.
He is survived by: his daughter Darlene Anchikites (Peter) of West Monroe; his sister Helen Valasek of Tarentum, PA; and his grandchildren, John, Jim Kibbe, Michelle Pierce, Aaron Ryan and Leah Field. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
