With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John J. Weiss of Tannersville, Pennsylvania, born in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 7, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Alberta J. Weiss (Getz); his parents, Earl A. and Dorothy Weiss Sr. (Smith); his siblings, James, Arthur, Earl Weiss and Mary Kruse; and his grandson Benjamin Weiss.
He is survived by: his children, Carol LaBar (Randy) of Bartonsville, Mary Brethauer (Neal) of Canadensis, Dot Weiss of Pen Argyl, Brenda Hunter (Howard) of Saylorsburg, Edward Getz (Susan) of Scotrun, John Weiss, Jr. (Linda) of Stroudsburg and James Weiss (Robyn) of Stroudsburg. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
