She was predeceased by: her spouse Paul Nester, Sr.; her parent George A. Maurer; and her son Paul Nester, Jr.. She is survived by: her parent Irene Maurer; her grandchildren, Paul Nester, Eric Nester of Scranton, PA and Heather Macijowsky of Dalton, PA; and her sisters, Joan Wassel and Marjorie Lincovich. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
