He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Milton Whetstone and Mary Whetstone (King); and his brother Harold Whetstone. He is survived by: his close friend Ash; his children, Ronald S. Whetstone (Claudia) of Layton, UT and Sharon Whetstone; his grandchildren, Olivia M. Whetstone and Fausto DeLmar Whetstone; and his brother Norman Whetstone.
