He was predeceased by: his father Robert Kovalesky. He is survived by: his mother Georgine K. Benek (Leonard J.) of Lansford; his caregiver Missy Miller; and his pet Slick.
Rich was a member of the Pa Counseling Association, National Board of Counseling, National Board of Certified Counselors, and prior to Covid restrictions served on the Consumer Subcommittee Board in Harrisburg which met monthly.
