It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcellus Woodson of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, born in York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Marcellus departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Marcellus. Though Marcellus may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his parents, Benita Woodson (Oden) and Earnest Woodson; his fiancée Christine "Chrissy" McCarroll; and his daughters, Briella G. Woodson and Gianna L. Woodson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (655 E Broad St, Tamaqua, PA 18252). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
