He was predeceased by: his spouse Lille Anne Starr (Stephens); his parents, Charles Starr and Verna Starr (Stapleton); and his siblings, Charles, John, Gene, Juanita, Susan and Betty.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Parsons (Barb Stemmler) of Mary, Michael Starr of Mary, Dawn Lucas of Mary and Lesa Gooding (James) of Chester Springs, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Alison, Jessica, Clarence, Cassandra, William, Ember, Elexus, Amanda and David; his great grandchildren, Trent, Layne and Jovie; and his siblings, Raymond "Pete" Starr (Alice) of Berwick and Susie Dabravalskie of Scranton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home (500 E Broad St, Tamaqua, PA 18252). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
