He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Mellor and Shirley R. Mellor-Stewart (Zimmerman); and his stepfather Harry V. Stewart. He is survived by: his children, Tracey L. Rudnick (Todd) and Kenneth J. Mellor, Jr. (Abigail); his grandchildren, Dylan Mellor and Madison Rudnick; his close friend Tammy Urban; his siblings, Sherry Miller (Kevin), Kelly Dirzulaitis (Mark), Stanley Mellor and William Mellor; and his nephew Ken.
