Joseph B. Digilio Obituary

Joseph B. "JoJo" Digilio, 81 years of age of East Diaz Ave. Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at home while in the care of his beloved wife of 59 years, Dolores Ann (McGlinchey) Digilio.

Born Friday, October 10, 1941 in Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania. the son of the late Vito, and Josephine (Alonge) Digilio. JoJo was also predeceased by; daughter, Christine A. Maniaci; sisters; Jeanette Logan, and Marie Focht; Antonette Tallarico, Josephine Gould; brothers, Salvatore, and Charles Digilio.

Surviving are son, Joseph V. Digilio; granddaughters, Niki Maniaci and her husband Ian Klementovic, Samantha Digilio; great grandchildren; brothers, William Digilio and his wife Lillian, Nicholas Digilio; sister, Theresa Izzo wife of Frank. Many nieces and nephews also survive JoJo.

A graduate of Nesquehoning High School, JoJo served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. JoJo retired from Amatek of Nesquehoning and was an ardent Notre Dame Football fan. JoJo played football while in the Army. He was a devoted grandfather and great grandfather. Tuesdays were his day to co-pilot the babysitting duties for his granddaughter Niki's twins, Mila and Nolan. JoJo liked to walk the streets of New Columbus and chat with friends and neighbors. JoJo was a member of Immaculate Conception R.C.C. of Jim Thorpe.
