She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Gernert and Margaret Gernert (McGinley); her husband Larry Mehallic; her son Gunnar J. Mehallic; and her siblings, Geraldine Mcclean (late Sammy) and Ronald Gernert.
She is survived by: her children, Larry G. Mehallic (Penny Ulrich) and Shannon Dmytrow (Ron); her sister-in-law Lillian Gernert; her niece Joan; and her pet Angel. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
