He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph P. Chickirda and Daryl Chickirda (Hollenbach); his sister Joanne Chickirda; and his siblings-in-law, William Zubey, Charles Kellner and Helene Kellner.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Chickirda (Kellner); his children, Gary J. Chickirda, Jr. of Coplay and Jennifer Frey of Easton; his granddaughters, Alyson and Rachel Frey; and his sisters, Dorothy Davis (Robert) of Schuylkill Haven and Daryl Zubey of Lewistown Valley.
