Evelyn Willing Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Willing of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn Willing to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Willing, Sr.; her parents, Leroy Romig and Susan Romig (Hunt); her son Bernard Hannon; her sister Helen Lehman; and her husbands, James Hannon and Roy Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Hannon (Chris Stoops) of Middleport and Leroy Hannon (Penny) of Harwick Massachusetts; her daughter-in-law Diane Hannon of Tamaqua; her grandchildren, Joseph Hannon, Jr. (Alaina) of Marysville Pennsylvania, Charlotte Smith of Worcester Massachusetts, Nathanial Smith of Holland Massachusetts, Victoria Hannon of West Hazleton, Eeva Hannon of Tamaqua, Shane Stoops of Middleport, Bethany Ulrich (Drake) of New Philadelphia and Kayla Stoops of Shenandoah; her great grandchild Vincent; and her siblings, William Romig (Frida) of Richmond, Leroy, Jean Holmberg of South Tamaqua, Rebecca Bowman (John) of Tamaqua and Connie Hartranft of Beebe Arkansas.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home (500 E Broad St, Tamaqua, PA 18252). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sky View Memorial Park (108 Lafayette St, Tamaqua, PA 18252).
