Oakes (Tamaqua, Pennsylvania), born in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 18, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Oakes and Lucy Oakes (Sweeney); and his siblings, Gertrude, Bernadette, Eleanore Oakes, Vincent Sweeney, Glyn, Donald, Charles, Jeffrey J. Sr. and Wayne Oakes.

He is survived by: his siblings, Kathryn Boris (Lenny), Marie Quick, Kenneth J. Oakes (Kay), Arthur J. Oakes and Michael A. Oakes.
