She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy D. Habel and Doris B. Habel (Malick); and her siblings, Roy "Poncho" Habel and Kathryn M. Moser (Robert). She is survived by: her daughter Kim Mendinsky (Andy) of Hometown; her grandson David M. Murphy (Jessica Jackowski) of Frackville; her brother Joseph Habel (Danielle) of Tamaqua; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Habel of Mary. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
