She was predeceased by: her husband Roy D. Habel; her parents, Edgar Malick and Mary Malick; her children, Roy "Poncho" Habel and Kathryn M. Moser (Robert); and her brother Harold Malick.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph (Danielle) of Tamaqua and Doris V. Hosier of Tamaqua; her daughter-in-law Bonnie Habel of Mary; and her grandchildren, Roy Habel, Marc Habel, Kimberly Mendinsky, Brenda Wallace, Chris Moser and Brock Roberts. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; stepbrothers and stepsisters; and numerous nephews and nieces.
