He is survived by: his daughters, Connie Vega and Candace Vega (Jack); his grandchildren, Naiara, Naheem and Nyasia Wise; his close friend Tony Hall; his friend Katherine Serrano; his former wife Thelma Vega; his godson Kenneth Persise; his niece Esperanza; his nephew Michael Serrano; and also Thomas E. Rockwell.
