She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Nichols and Clara Nichols (Christian); and her siblings, Rex Nichols and Belle Connis. She is survived by: her husband Louis "Skip" Whittaker; her daughters, Laura DeYoung (John) of Hawley and Teresa Niles (John) of Lake Ariel; her sister Mina DeRenzo of Elmira, NY; and her grandchildren, Cassandra Lyons, Brittany Kelly, Randi DeYoung, Veronica Loughran and Derek Niles. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hessling Murray Funeral Home (428 Main St, Honesdale, PA 18431). A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Hills Memorial Park (563 Jerusalem Hill Rd, Elmira, NY 14901).
