She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Huey and Mary Huey (Williams); her husband Delbert "Duck" Ward; her daughter Kimberly; and her siblings, Clifford, Ben and Nancy.

She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Joiner (Jody) of DuBois and Blake Joiner (Bracie) of Reynoldsville. She is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
